Meet Chelsea.

I’m Chelsea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the clinician behind Emerald Oak Counseling.

My approach is warm, connective and collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what’s hard without feeling judged, and where we can recognize the parts of you that are already strong, capable, and growing.

I’ve spent my career working alongside families navigating eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, body image concern, and other challenges that can make life feel especially complicated.

A particular passion of mine is supporting parents and caregivers through eating disorder recovery. I have extensive experience with Family-Based Treatment (FBT), including helping caregivers feel more confident in their role and providing practical guidance when treatment feels overwhelming.

Eating disorder recovery happens in real life.

Meals. Families. School. Work. Restaurants. Holidays. Relationships.

Specialized treatment shouldn’t stop at understanding the eating disorder - it should help you navigate the moments where recovery actually happens.
